  1. Hi, I hope some bright minds can help me out with the following. I am looking to make a better Quad (or Dual) mirror with Scene Nodes because the Symmetry object is heavier than a simple Instance object (set as Render Instance) and X=-1. Attached a scene file how I have always done this but I was wondering if something like this could be made with 1 scene node object that reads the quadrant and mirrors on y&x-axis but using the fast mode Render Instance without using Symmetry object. Thanks! Quad Mirror Start.c4d
  2. I would love more tutorials on this. A few years ago I tried it but the whole op really confused me. Last year I dove into Geometry nodes and that makes a lot more sense to me. So I wish there were clear scene nodes where you learn the basics so better understand c4d's concept. Looking forward to the channel! (subbed)
  3. Am I the only one who is more concerned with the way the development progressed since a a short time before Maxon bought Redshift? Don't get me wrong, I like Redshift a lot and it is my go-to render but it feels like nothing "new" or money worth has been implemented that appeals to me. OCIO is great but I never use it, Mac support? Cool for them but I only use Windows. A bunch of Houdini additions and Blender support? Nice, but I only use Cinema... I have 3 Redshift licenses and the only good thing about the monthly subscription is that I can turn 2 off when I am not doing extensive rendering
