  1. You don't get it and that's ok.
  2. I guess Apple users are ok with this but it's a crap solution in 2023.
  3. Then why can't it do that?
  4. I don't have an Apple computer to test myself but I just read an article that said QT Player cannot export MP4. Maybe it works to export 264 to movie and then change the suffice to MP4?
  5. Thanks but asking client to download something is another step I wanted to avoid. Oh well maybe Apple will add basic functionality to QT in year 2030.
  6. Hi Apple users. I have a client who has a very large QT movie that is 30 minutes long and 17GB. Is there a way that she can convert the movie to an MP4 using the QT Player? A quick google search turned up many conflicting reports and as client is computer illiterate I need to be able to spell it out in detail step by step. Thanks.
  7. Interestingly the pictured container itself has many imperfections which either are artifacts of the manufacture process of the item or possibly the original mold . For example the visible seem ridges and the unevenness in the curvature of the spout.
  8. I tried to learn Cinema's scene nodes which I very much wanted to have but found the implementation so poor and incomplete I ended up learning Houdini instead. Houdini nodes are a hundred times easier and more powerful. There is just no comparison and the fact that it was easier for me to learn a completely new program that I'd never touched before than it was to learn a new feature in a program I have used for nearly 30 years should speak volumes. Scene nodes in Cinema were introduced as a technology preview at first and there has been practically no visible development since.
  9. Agree 100% The main use for volume builder I've ever found is in modeling for 3d printing or other fabrication where uv's and edge loops arent required.
  10. How would you manage all the curves to flow smoothly in a volume builder workflow? Do you remesh it before delivery? Use some smoothing tools?
  11. Regardless of method this is a very challenging model. There is so much going on in all those curves.
  12. Off topic but that video's presentation seemed so hooky and tone deaf. Are the 70's back?
  13. The downside is that the AI that made this possible will also make it unnecessary.
  14. That's an extremely misleading statement. It is trained using copyrighted material, illegally , without which it couldn't amount to very much, or at least would take much longer to amount to something. It is only able to do this because image art is not very well protected compared to musical art, which is never used to train AI because it is so much better protected.
  15. I guess any change is time and time is money. If things are afloat for now then why rock the boat, one could argue.

    AI and Maxon?

I think I may have seen this posted here earlier but can't find it now so here it is again.

    AI and Maxon?

I saw a lot people I follow on Instagram posting self portrait images made by Lensa ai. My heart just sank at the realization that art and photography and movie making as a career or profession as we have known it is probably over. https://t.co/BA8jqbenWQ
  18. This seems like the best solution for growing the membership. Is it technically too hard to do or what exactly is the argument against it?
  19. Ah sorry to see you go but I understand. Best wishes to you going forward into the future.
  20. It all comes down to order of execution, which deformers is first and so on. Play with that.
  21. Got it thanks! That is indeed a big difference.
  22. It's kind of hard to tell what's going on here but isn't this same thing possible by simply tracing the orbits of three moons of an object orbiting the center?
