Points are projected correctly, overshooting what you see is made by tangents. You need selectec each points with these "broken" tangents and adjust them manually...

In your scene file hand is not rigged (no skin, no weights). Can you post screenshot with weight for "RightHandThumb1" from your original scene file? My screen shows weighted hand and similar should looks also in your case (in my example are weights generated without my edit)

As I understand (maybe I´m mistaken), if sometimes perpetual licence holder "brake" maintenance, all other deals become kind of "subscriptions" for him. So, perpetual licence of XP will "freeze" to last day of maintenance expiration date and could not be "updated" by buing maintenance in the future. Only way to have perpetual licence of XP "actual" is not "brake" maintenance line... (if understood correctly of course)

Not needed to add selection capsule. For inset you have "selection string" option where you can type kind of selection you want. (as described in online documentation) If you want to apply function to all polygons, simply remove word "default" and type "all"

For a few versions of c4d is not needed to have plugins in installation or preference diretory. You could have plugins installed in some external, differently named directory and into preferences just add path to this folder...

You select loop first then run plugin and adjust length of pattern (item SELECTED). Item GAP means length of pattern plus gap (if pattern is 2 and you want also gap 2, value entered for item GAP will be 4) and at last there´s a parameter OFFSET which means exactly what it means. With value 1 will be offseted pattern by 1 position etc...
