  3. Hello There my name is michael and i am new here. i am studying product design in zurich and we've had some C4D training . But still.... there ist so much to learn. I spent a whole sunday with a problem that i and the people i know could not solve. its about two moving parts that are conected with a thin steel cable. the distance varies but it is always "straight" (tensioned?). i used the spline to visuaize the cable. on the both ending points i did place two small spheres and used the constraint tag to connect them with the "clamp". the settings i finally used are in the screenshot. i did so by selecting the end points from the spline in the "ponts mode" and then selecting the target (spheres) with the pipette. the red line "draw clamp" did work with all distances that occur in the animation so it seems the effect does the right thing. but the spline did not do the same. it moved (in my opinion) without any pattern.... its the orange line in the screenshot. what am i doing wrong? can somebody recommend me a better way? Thanks a lot Michael PS. On the Screenshot are some settings i tried today
