  1. Good morning, in regards to an ideal hardware setup for cinema4d+corona renderer setup, which is the best machine out of the following options i have. My current setup is a xeon dual processor e5 2680 v3 but i have the following options for me: 1. Hp Z640 dual workstation tower xeon dual processor e5 2696 v4 2.2ghz (88cores) 64gb ECC 1tb Nvme ssd nvidia geforce 3070 8gb 2. Omen by HP i9 10900k 3.7ghz (20cores) 64gb 1tb Nvme ssd nvidia geforce 3070 8gb My current setup lags excessively during live preview moreso with dynamics(collisions, fractures etc). The many cores however are efficient for rendering on corona as it is CPU based. What advice can this team give me on this and how to move forward
  2. Hey guys, I got another aspect i would like assistance with..i would want to have my obj/model embedded into the ground. How would i achieve the high detailed edges of the ice around the product as appears in the image below. The arrows indicate the areas i want to understand how to do
  3. Thank you team so @Cerberaand @keppn much for this support..i have been away for personal affairs but im so glad for this support and im beginning to work on it. will give feedback on the progress made
  4. @keppnGot it..thanks for the advice
  5. @MJVthank you for clarifying that. i really questioned my 3D ability thinking it was a simple model that should not have taken much time. @keppnyes it is atrocious😆but it provided me with an opportunity to meet you gurus on the forum as well as an opportunity to learn and grow. No easy way out to achieve success.
  6. Thank you team for this support..i would consider myself as a beginner transitioning to intermediate in terms of modelling. It is not a job but rather a personal project that i wanted to do for a long time but it definitely proved challenging. From what i have understood here is that the volume builder/mesher would work well but may pose several challenges along the way..i dont have much experience with it so i believe the conversion to proper topology may also produce different results especially if i dont do it right. The alternative would be SDS which i have a better understanding but have challenges in some areas. I would consider taking up the guru Cerbera offer.
  7. Got it. Let me give the volume builder a try. When you say traditional, do you mean cubes? Yes, was referring to the same image.
  8. Hey team, First time in the forum and glad to join. I need some help in modelling an oil container in the attached file..i have the most problems with the side of the handle and curved areas as shown by the arrows. The obj slims inwards towards the handle. I tried using a boole to cut out that part but it turned out disastrous. Kindly assist. I have attached the file below
