  1. Hi guys, I have a huge field of flowers. that I placed with the scatter tool. Broke it into instances to place them separatly. But now I want to control the colors via fields. When I place them into a cloner everything gets messed up. Is there another way? Thank you Björn
  2. ´The settings in 2023 seems a little different and it doesn't make a change when I go lower with the percentage.
  3. Hi i created a chain and the dynamics work just fine. but now i had to scale the chain way smaller and when i start the simulation it breaks. Any suggestions? Thanks Björn chain.c4d
  4. Hi Cores, Maybe this is an odd question but sometimes when I navigate objects one of the arrows points towards or away the camera and it is really hard to grab this arrow. I'm wondering if there is a trick how you do it without opening a second panel to get a different view on it? I tried to hit x, y, z on the keyboard but that limits that axis I want to move. Any hints? Thanks Björn
  5. I chatted with the support and they said: Unfortunately, the substance manager is not compatible with the M1, at least compatible to run natively. We are working with Adobe to update this, but fortunately, you can use the substance manager if you run Cinema 4D in Rosetta.
  6. I tried it on a Laptop of a friend of mine. He also has Substance Painter. Didn't figured it out how to get them . ;(
  7. I would love to use it manually but i can only download the .sbsar file but not the the materials itself. Or do I do something fundamentally wrong?
  8. Hello C4Ds, a quick question. I am missing the substance Asset manager to import Substance Materials into Cinema. Does anyone know how to solve this? Is it still possible to import them? Thanks Björn
  9. Thank you, yes that make sense but my animation has no T-Pose at the beginning and all the tutorials I watched it looks like it should work without a T-Pose with 1 frame. Have a quick look here on 2:45 min.
  10. Hi Cores, I downloaded two fbx rigged scenes from Mixamo. A T-Pose for my designed Character and a walk cycle. I added both scenes a Character Definition Tag and the T Pose a Character Solver Tag. when I place the Walkcycle into Source Character. The CHaracter gets binded but the arms are not connected and the Legs seem a little off as well. Any suggestion how I could solve this? Thank you Bjoern preview.mp4 Character solver.c4d

  13. Hello everyone, I try to let a sausagy character interact with a very small door. So the character gets squeezed when it tries to fit through the door. But turning the skin into a softbody doesn't work. At first because of calculation time and secondly the bones get deattached from the skin. Any suggestions ho to solve that?   14. Hello everyone, I try to dig deeper into C4D and realise watching tutorials only doesn't help solving every problem. So talking to a community will hopefully help to improve my skills and maybe one day I can return my knowledge. 😉 Cheers, Bjoern
