  1. I have submitted a ticket myself for now, but thanks for the offer anyway 🙂 Tried to backtrack the origin of the issue but couldnt wrap my head around it... Ill reply as soon as I get an answer from Maxon. Anyways, I welcome anyone taking a look at it, as the issue regarding files are really important and cant be redone in time. Best regards, Benno
  2. Whops, yess indeed, Ctr + Z. Strg is german keyboard term, but it´s the same 🙂
  3. Thanks for the reply! It really is mind buggling.... I thought maybe its some weird option I have altered? This is the file, i only left one object in it. Steps to replicate the issue: - Extrude - Bevel - Inset - Optimize 2 or more points together (this one seems to have greatest possibility) - Strg + Z (Undo) = See things getting messed up... 🤡 I never issued a ticket but will look into that. Thanks again, best regards, Benno 03_01_street_night_v6_issued.c4d
  4. Hello, I´m using C4D v2024.2.0, Redshift v3.5.23, both being the newest version available. However, since like two days in like 70% of the cases of undoing (strg+z) an action, the mesh of the object I´m currently working on, gets heavily distorted with half the vertices being welded to the object origint. It only appears to happen in rescently created files. The same thing occurs when I open the file in C4D v 2023. Trying to undo that action also doesnt work / makes it worse which forces me to load up the last save. As you can imagine this heavily slows down the working process, I´m having heavy deadline pressure so I´d appreciate any ideas / options for me. 🙂 Things I´ve tried: - Multiple restarts - Reinstallment of C4D / Redshift - Opening the file in different versions of C4D - Copying the File Content to a new File With best regards, Benno Schulze
  5. Will be sure to do that tomorrow, kinda need to put the material nordes in order so it´s not as much of a mess anymore, 😄 Thanks!
  6. Using a Maxon Noise instead of the Surface Imp. Map for mixing in the Color Layer somehow fixed the issue. Couldn´t get a close replica of the bump map I had before but atleast it´s magically working. Still happy to hear what could have been the issue, thanks! 🙂
  7. I had simply put it to cubic projection, so UV Map. Thanks for your reply 🙂 Not to be confused, the texture itself doesnt change in scale, its just the "borders" of the bump map increasing. Not even scaling up 😕
  8. Hey, I´ve been struggling with an issue using C4D R26.107 and Redshift v.3.5.4. For the Bump Map I' m using a scratched (surface imperfection) map combined with a maxon noise through a color layer (see screenshot). Somehow as i go further a way from the object, the borders of the Bump Map are increasing until they fully cover the whole object. When i decrease the scale of the surface imperfection map (i put it to 15-15) to a lower number, the degree in which this happens also decreases but it´s still happening. Anyone knows if thats supposed to happen and I did something stupid? Really can't get my head around that.
  9. Hello, im coming with an issue thats been bugging me for days. Im working on product renderings for FFP2 Masks, in order for Subsurface Scattering and closeup shots to work properly, the Imprints are 3D Modeled, not just textured, My issue is that especially on thin furrows, the refraction channel is creating weird and ugly patches on it. My current workaround is to render a second pass without the refraction channel and stitch it with a mask in Photoshop. Noting to work in long term as there is supposed to be a video produced aswell. I´ve already tried alot with the render settings where sadly nothing really seems to have an effect on it. Thanks for reading, hope someone knows more than me... PS: Currently working on colour variants, so dont wonder why it´s pink, these *ß13§ patches are specially visible on that colour. Best regards, Benno "Beauty" channel Pure refraction Refraction disabled C4D v 25.117 Redshift v 3.0.66 Ryzen 7 5800X 2x 3070ti
