I’m about to build / buy a new system and am looking for advice on components. I’ve started transitioning from Octane to Redshift, and although the needs are similar, I figured it was relevant to share that. My current rendering machine is a Ryzen and 3090 based system from Alienware. I’ve built systems before so I’m fine with a component approach. I’m currently considering a dual 3090 set up which will give me a bit more room for heavier scenes, or a 4090 but with plenty of RAM and some optimization around out of core. Ryzen has served me well. I’d like to stay close to $5k but will go higher if it means even more stability and speed. I really want stability with this new system. Thanks for the suggestions! kC
