  1. Oh well, it was driving me crazy. Thought already I had to reinstall my whole PC because that bug apperars in so many versions. Anyway not sure what would habe been better. Thank you for the report, I really hope that thing will be fixed in the next version.
  2. Hi guys, since a while I have a strange bug when I make a selection from random meshes. There are always some sort of Polygons which are being not selected. (Only Visible turned off / doesn't matter which selection tool I use). Also on multiple meshes. I already installed various C4D Versions from some from 2023 and 2024. Currently on the newest on MacOS. There is always a similar pattern of non selected polygons like it shown on the screenshot below. And I can only select those polygons which have not been selected when I turn my camera to a different angle.
  3. I figured that sometimes it works as expected but in some scenes there seem to be some other settings or a bug. I have a total new made scene where everything works with 1 unit steps. At another scene it has steps with at least 10 unit steps. And this is also view dependent. It's only in my main F1 view, in another view the units scaling by 1 again. Very strange. So I was guessing that there must be a view dependent setting, but I did not find anything - someone maybe have a clue?
  4. I'm using the newest C4D version on macOS. This problem exists already for a long time. There has been several versions of Cinema and macOS, so I doubt it's a driver problem. I have set a shortcut for the driving the size of the Magnet brush as well, I can control the Magnet and Sculpt brush with the same key and mouse click. The magnet brush always is on pint, I can change the size by the value of one very smoothly. But as soon as I change to a sculpt brush it's getting very uncontrollable and the change happens at least with the value of 4. Tested that On a simple sphere, so it definitely not any performance issue. Also happens with Middle click as well, exactly the same.
  5. When I change the brush size of my sculpt brushes with the hotkey S, it actually supposed to step up or down by a value of 1. But in some projects and even in some views it's different and the value is by 10. So sometimes I hit the S key it magically changes the brush size with the step size of 1 or sometimes of 10. How can I control it and how come it's different from scene to scene or even view to view? I really would love to have a consistent change by the value of 1 😄

Working well with R26 🙂 THANKS SO MUCH!
  7. Thanks for your answer. Alright I will try it. I have X-Particles so I would tend to have quite a nice control over complex behavior. Would you recommend X-Particles or just the standard Particle system of C4D? Do you have any tips for XP or even tutorial on how to simulate the flies behavior through particles? Thanks in advance!
  8. Hi guys, I was wondering what's the best way to create an quite natural animated swarm of flying insects / small flies. I found an nice blender tutorial, maybe you can suggest a nice way in C4D too. I mean there are kind of simple ways to create random "flying" effects, but quite hard to make it look naturally like flying insects. I bet there is a quite simple way, but I didn't figure it out neither I found some tips on the internet...
