This was the second animation homework for the School of Motion C4D Basecamp.
We're given a model of plane with Sam (pilot), floating islands, some clouds, a ring. The scene was pre-lit and textured.
When I seen this one I was thinking I'd love to dog fight or some action scene. We still have to have homework of plane following spline, going through rings and doing loop paths.
This was lot of fun to make. Took a couple of weeks though and the renders at one stage were 29mins per frame at the worst, but around 30 secs to 2 mins on average.
