  1. It seems like in the Mirror Tool I need to select the right axis in the Properties->Axes dropdown.. This topic can be closed 🙂
  2. So.. I need to mirror the lift side of a robot character (arms and legs) to the right side.. Quite simple right? Well, I tried the character Mirror Tool, it mirrors the body parts, but the controllers local axis are not mirrored over. The same happens when I put the hierarchy in a null at the center and scale the hierarchy by -1.. What tool do I need to use to mirror the body parts and the controllers (nulls) local axis??
  3. I was just checking to see if there is a performance boost in R25 vs the current version I run (R23). Reading this I will not spend my money to upgrade to this version.. thanks
  4. Thanks guys.. Here is a wire frame for Cerbera ;-) I know you love SDS .. and it all is
  5. Some workflow info: I really like the Volume builder and mesher for creating these smooth surface body parts. - Some retopo in 3D Coat - Marvelous designer for the neck part - Modeled and rendered in C4D off course - Redshift for rendering Still a lot to add

  7. Thanks people! ;-) No body yet, but I have some idea's for that so it will be coming
  8. Created for fun.. Software used: Zbrush, Rizom UV, Substance Painter, Cinema 4D and Redshift
  9. Today my agenda was clear so I decided to create a character. Sculpted in Zbrush, Retop in 3D Coat (Head) and do the rest of the modeling in Cinema4D. Just a quick cylinder UV to have something on the vest. Doing proper UV's and textures is for the next spare day ;-) rockZero_turntable.mp4
  10. thanks for the heads up Recto, For 249,- I couldn't resist buying a perpetual license ;-)
  11. Just for fun created: (I didn't model the car though...) thanks for watching
  12. thanks CBR, I found this video.. Getting close, but when I hook up the rangemapper to a deformer the Xpresso setup turns yellow.. https://cgbeer.com/affect-any-parameter-with-mograph-effectors/ I'll keep digging ;-)
  13. I don't think that is what I am looking for. What I am trying to do is using an 'external' plain effector driving morph tags when the objects passes through this effector This way I'll have one effector and multiple objects animating their morph when passing through.
  14. Thanks CBR, I'm going to check the video!
  15. Hi I am trying to create an animation setup but I am stuck.. I am trying animate the following There is a plain effector (capsule) with faloff somewhere in the scene. Then there is my objects. these are all the same objects which all have a posemorph tag. I animate the object towards the effector and want the pose morph to effect the strength. So I think it is a simple solution using expresso. Connecting the plain effector to the PoseMorph strength. One thing is I cannot find the right value from the plain effector to drive the pose morph. Am I on the right track or am i missing something? Menno
  16. I'm sure you won't sit so relaxed on this one (yet) as you do on a 'bierfiets'
  17. Hee Jarno, nice work you have on your website. Are you going to Playgrounds Festival today/tomorrow by any chance? gr Menno
  18. Hehe funny ;-) well the mask is based on the Starboard logo The rest of the logo is not something to convert to a character so I made one up.
  19. Another update today. Next on the list is to texure his body to make it more interesting ...
  20. Some great detail! I love the basket Menno
  21. Thanks people :-) today another day, did some final tweaks on the body. Changed the mask texture and made a quick biped rig. (Rigging in R19 is so much better) :-) Do a pose and applied some Agfa fileter in photoshop to give it some look Menno
  22. Today i got some spare time to continue working on my starboard character.
