For me it doesn't feel like a perfect match. It might be a match, in my opinion there could have been better ones. I really hope, that MAXON is not using all the developement time on a Integration. They left so many basic features untouched. Performance of the editor view, UV, Volumes. Others got worsened like the Teamrender (NET). And now one could get the impression that MAXON is occupied with business developement (optimization of stream of income, optimization of licensing, buying and joining). It looks a bit like MAXON is circling around it self, its business Model and value. I am shure this feels great at MAXON HQ but as a customer I don't feel that rush.

I think this is true not just in this one case. The "we make the rules take it or leave it" approach was a big mistake imho.

I personally are not against an online help on principal, but I would like to know if there where so many demands to change it, because one could get the Impression, that people quite like the old help system. As far as I know you can not renew your MSA anymore. you either have to go subscription with 20% bonus for your running MSA (and loose your perpetual license) or without bonus (doesn't make sense as you have R21), or you wait till next year without MSA and update perpetual for expected 850€ excl. They know what's going on. They are all here in the forum. But unfortunately they feel misunderstood instead of trying to understand. They think they' ve just explained it badly. Instead of realizing that they have made decisions in their own interest, they have persuaded themselves that all these decisions would be great for their customers.

Hi Ralph, everything I heard about R21 and its benefits like: one version, subsciption, the lack of MSA in future, online help, the reduction of render clients to 5, and so on. are basically benefits for MAXON. The really annoying part is that you try to sell them as a great benefits for the customer. the best feature in R21, the denoiser, it is intel technology with public source code ready to implement it into your application. I asked around under colleges, I do not believe you know how much trust you lost, not just with R21 or taking away render clients, or even canceling the MSA (with no balls to tell us what it will cost in future) but with the attempt to sell this as great benefits. best regards Jops

ok, so spireil over at cgtalk helped me find out: it was the missing or to old opencl.dllok... so here for all:install like described in the Navie effex zip- copy a tpp.dll to the dir where you find the cinema4d.exe (working for me is version 4.2.2013.1114 for spireil version 2018.0.0.0 works, maybe wersion it is not that crucial here)- take care that your windows/system32 folder contains a opencl.dll (version 2.0.2.0 works for spireil, 2.0.4.0 works for me (I had it laying around so I used this one.)thanks a lot to everyone!and especially to Samir!

Hi There, thanks Samir for this great gift. I wish you all the best for your life. to all the others. I just can't get it running. Not on my workstation not on my Laptop. I downloaded everything twice, tested 10 different tbb.dlls and tripple checked that I put everything where it belongs. on R17 to R19 on win 10 and 8.1 (all 64Bit) is someone else having problems to? or am I the only one? thanks for every bit of advice.
