  1. Thanks guys! @ Bezo: Lovee that game! But no, the armour is inspired by the move last knights and the handsome head is my own lol
  2. Hi all! First of all, hope everyone's had a great Christmas, I'm stuffed lol! So here's a first look at my project with color on the character! I still have to do the hair but haven't had time to do that yet. Some minor changes will also be made to the textures but this should be close to wat the final is going to be. Edit: Ofcourse i'll provide some close ups when it's compeltely finished:)
  3. Great! what does the SSFU stand for ;) ?
  4. Very cool, happy holidays! Did you use turbulence fd for the fire/smoke?
  5. Another update, finished the wristguards and gloves! Only modeling/sculpting to do is the around the middle and the shirt! Also added the "heat pressed"? details into the leather that you can also see in the sigil on the front of his armour
  6. Hehe, nice one man, mad skills.
  7. Cool reel! Congrats with your studio
  8. Haha, Steven Seagull lol! Cool, would be nice to see what you got in store for this one.
  9. Bravo, really cool, loves those sort of statue sculpts!
  10. Thanks for the offer Dan! I think for this project i'll try to get my uv's out of C4D as good as I can and for another project I'll try the demo for sure! I dont have a symmetrical model since the clothing was posed in Marvelous designerwith a morph target so the folds are different than with the symmetrical t-pose. Perhaps i haven't discovered the right workflow yet for these sort of projects.
  11. It was pretty easy to embed those 3D viewers on my website, don't know if a forum like this is any different though. Would be cool.
  12. Thanks, yeah Zbrush is great, I really love to work within that program, it's like playing with clay and once you get the hang of some features it can be a really powerful tool. There a just some things that cannot be done with the standard modeling programs. After I'm done with all the objects... and Uv's haha.... I'm going to texture it in Substance Painter and probably will render it In Marmoset Toolbag because I've seen some nice hair cards results with that program. Rigging is nothing really special since this is my first full body character, I've already got the final pose which you can see in the image below. Sort of a post battle zen pose haha.
  13. Thats exactely how I think about it at the moment, if it was just a third of it's price I would have done it but there are so many programs and plugins to buy already that are so expensive haha. Anyway, I am seriously going to consider it but most likely after I finished my character. C4D's tools just feel too outdated after what I read on the internet what other programs are capable of. Thanks!
  14. Wow that sounds like a whole lot more than C4D can do but it comes with a pricetag i see, 300 euro's! The new version looks really good though so perhaps it's worth the money. I just hope MAXON does something about the uv tools soon.. Thanks a lot for pointing out the features Dan!
  15. Nice UV's. what do you say unfold3D does better than C4D does? I just got the hang of unwrapping in C4D but getting straight uv strips is not easy to achieve, so I'm curious to hear about faster or easier alternatives.
  16. Only the scratches and the sort of noise you see on the leather was added in Zbrush. Oh and the Sigil on the chest!
  17. Finally finished the armour, man what a work. Only subtle details are being added in Zbruhs since the real texturing will be done in substance painter through AO and curvature masking
  18. Try it here man, perhaps there's something for you: http://tf3dm.com/search/?q=kitchen&search=Search
  19. I'm seeing you doing an animation after all this rigging and weighting..or am I wrong ;) ?
  20. Final shape is done with the creation of the shoulder pads. The buckles belts and buttons on this armour are really killing me haha. Changed the two belts on his middle since the previopus ones where just round. I'm really having a blast with this project. What else to do on a saturday night right!? xD
  21. Aawh yeah, I knew acape would be a great addition, very nice bro!
  22. Ha brilliant! Never would've guessed.
