  1. Is that real or true symmetry? Can't find anything with the name real symmetry But isn't that the same as the normal mirror tool in C4D?. I was just too lazy and thought I could mirror the side I already had and with the relax button with HB modelling tools it would snap to my face perfectly lol. Not 100% happy with the edgeflow, but I guess for the first time it's ok, thanks ;) Edit: Oh I think it is true symmetry, available here on the cafe right??
  2. Well some progress there is albeit very slowly. I just hope I can symmetry this because my mouth is not symmetrical, which I doubt anyone's is ha! so far 818 poly's :) EDIT: Potato, symmetry will not work :D
  3. They sure are, thanks for the tip, I'm not going to animate but it's a good practice anyway!
  4. Thanks! The elephant is finished, not touching that again, on to the next chapter/project. Spend to much time on that already haha, thanks for the suggestion though, appreciate it :)
  5. Oh boy, I started something really awesome. I wanted to delve a bit deeper into Photogrammetry so I wanted to get my head in 3D. it took days to get the perfect lighting setup and shooting settings and such but I finally got something useful in Agisoft. I took the model I got into zbrush to clean the whole thing up, I only got one good ear from the Agisoft mesh so I had to model that. After that I decided that I'd need a good topology to get some nice details on it for projection and scultping in Zbrush. And that's where I am at the moment, I never did a retopo on a head before and I'm wondering if I'm on the right course, perhaps some pro's here already see something I will run into in the future with the current mesh I have. It doenst have to be really low poly, I guess 7000 to 10.000 or so. So what's in store for the rest of the project. I actually want myself the be a knight of some sort xD Already got a lot of reference and I'm almost finished modelling the sword! All of the base meshes will be created in C4D just as the retopo's. I don't want to create the body since that will take a lot of time getting it anatomically correct, I'll just use fred or so as the avatar for the clothing, which I'll create in Marvelous Designer. Btw: It's so weird seeing your head in 3D without any hair :P
  6. Going good man! So where's the garbage bin going to be ;) ?
  7. Hmm, only 811 km. Wish that I could. Have fun though :)

    FLAT-ish

Woa, I really like the second one! Nice job
  9. From the album: Finals 2016

Had to give it some color, much more appealing than the first one i textured in Zbrush i think :)

  10. The model just begged for some color so here my final elephant upload. I gave him a mud bath. Textured in Substance Painter :)

  14. And for those that liked my elephant, I've gone throught the process of preparing it for substance painter and also uploaded it on Sketchfab!! This time I didn't want to spend days on creating a realistic texture but decided to go for the statue look. https://sketchfab.com/models/8e56c294c6c44ff482c19f5e567d1121
  15. Yeah and very easy, just an alpha I created in Photoshop and projected it in Zbrush, but C4D sculpting tools would do just fine as well!
  16. Hey thanks a lot! If you've ever need of help, just ask :)
  17. Haha, oops, totally forgot about those tiny legs! Good luck on the materials, I'm sure you'll manage just fine ;)
  18. Sweet dude! Keep those renders coming :P PS, how cool would it be if you put that minion on the bmx and animate it, ha!
  19. Another small test to get the hang of Normal baking with Cinema 4D and Substance Painter. Hertog Jan is a big beer brand here in the Netherlands ;) Did this in a couple of hours. Poly count is just above 900 Again the Sketchfab link for 3D viewing https://sketchfab.com/models/c73a6d11a2f34119a46cb9506b2ee21f
  20. Right, good start indeed but like Vector said the eyes are really important. Try to model or sculpt each part of the eye individually, the iris, sclera and cornea. A bit of extra work but def worth it.
  21. Hi everyone, I'm back again. I've been focussing for the last months on learning to create game models and getting the hang of unwrapping within C4D, since I've always been avoiding that. Finally I've got the hang of it and I began modelling this coffee grinder that's been in my parents house for as long as i can remember. So I created a high poly model, than the low poly one, unwrapped it and bought Substance Painter to create to maps and texture that baby. I can highly recommend SP to anyone since it's quite cheap and it is such an awesome program. Anyway, this was my first project witch SP and even a normal mapped "low"poly one so there's always room for improvements. Hope you guys like it, and I've added a sketchfab link so you can view it in 3D as well :) https://sketchfab.com/models/65b4a8d96ca64aba9943e7b2f76e44ae
