No, I tried that and it didn't work. Why can't I just render the selection I made?? This makes absolutely no sense and between r24, r25 and r26, I've got whiplash trying to figure the changes out.
Thanks for that observation. It seems the problem I am having is that I have never used the RS render region. I have selected the region in the RS render view, how do I get C4D to render only that? When I select the region I want, it's rendering the ENTIRE frame instead when I go to render my frames.
I am trying to render out a couple hundred frames of a single region but when I try to do this, the selection won't stay and it renders the entire frame. I have tried setting the boundaries in the render settings and the same thing keeps happening. What could I be doing wrong? I removed everything from the file so it's only the project itself.

So I think this is the issue. Even if I transform it to a RS material? I'm still NOT seeing the node editor button ANYWHERE after changing the material to RS.
Between r24 and r26 there has been a ridiculous amount of back and forth changes and it's really frustrating. Where the hell do I find the shader graph in r26??
Okay, done. I have to say it's gotten quite confusing lately between 24,25 and 26 which I also have installed, PLUS Redshift changing all 3 versions of C4d from 24-26! It's hard to learn already, much more with all the switch-ups.
I got these for free from Effectatron but absolutely none of these files look familiar to me except the jpg and the c4d - which does nothing when opening. They are supposed to be Redshift presets. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9nw6zyrjsvv4iui/RS Standard Metals.zip?dl=0
Why isn't my texture orientating in the vertical manner like it's supposed to? Is this a Redshift setting I am missing?
