Unfortunately people are selfish @Cerbera and i have had many a conversation about this. Ultimately this won't change, but it's the people who continue to help regardless that keep the community going. Now i do feel like there should be some sort of reward for this, other than the reputation system, which would soften the blow for people when they feel a lack of appreciation for their efforts. Cerbera is constantly at the top of the contributors list, week in and week out and i'd like to see that recognised. It seems a lot of people just make accounts to get an answer to something they need to know then sod off just as quickly, maybe there could be some sort of minimum post number before you're allowed to create a thread. I think this would help weed out the people who are just out for themselves? Either way it's a problem that bugged me for a while which is why i dont give away free models any more.
