  7. This is awesome, this has actually sparked my interest up again in a old project i started a while ago, a character kitbash kit, with different eyes, mouths ears etc as well as other body parts that could be inter changed to make numerous different characters.
  8. Thanks man I'm in the process of redesigning it, which is particularly boring :D Defenders are pretty awesome! I made that for An advert, sadly the final animation was done in sketch and toon so you never got a good close up/detailed look at it.

    My new project

Hey man, glad to see you're still alive and kicking haven't see you around much lately.
  13. No problem, i found the last image particularly helpful
  14. it took my super computer with 10 gtx 1080s 0.2576834568.27459213466 seconds to render ! that's good man if you can get work out of if it even better ! Really it's only because I tend to think how much can you get out of a project, quality wise if it's only taking a day to do before you're already thinking about the next one, but you're clearly able to pull it off to the standard it's bringing in work so keep at it :D
  15. Ah Bob it's a common mistake, you need to rotate the cube to the optimum angle for maximum visual stimulation
  16. Yea man, i've worked on 6 of their ads so far, and there's more to come:D i haven't got the green light yet to share what i did for the new one, but once it goes live i'll be able to share the bits i did, which for this one was most of the elements :D
  17. Basically this. unless it's through a middleman, or agent etc that are outsourcing it to you, then in general clients really have very little idea of what's involved, thus have completely unrealistic expectations time wise, and money wise, i had a guy basically straight up insult me when i gave him a quote of minimum 8 hours, to model this portable ventilator model properly, clean quad based mesh, he also wanted it on his desk by monday morning, (he contacted me late friday night) i offered to do it for 6 as the lowest as a favour, he then told me he got another quote for 3 hours and i was basically taking the pisss, after i told him it was near on impossible to model that thing properly in 3 hours, you can guess what probably happened come that monday morning when he received the model. Also a lot of people out there wanting something for nothing. luckily a client i've been working with quite a lot lately is literally a dream to work with, then again, he's outsourcing it to me, but i always get detailed well written and laid out briefs and feedback, and prompt payment, he's always offered to pay some upfront and pays extra for revisions etc, but unfortunately these are far and few between
  18. I love it wen a plan comes together
  19. how about we charge 12000 and give someone else 2000 to do it and split the 10 k 50 50
  20. same man been manic, had a nice bit of work for American Express lately with another ad coming up in the next few months but should have some time spare time. I don't mind mate if you have someone else in mind ?

  23. 29 years, i came flying from the womb at speed, with a miniature cube under my arms, the midwife caught me and thrust me up into the air for all to see and witness the birth of the quad overlord of the galaxy, i was then trained in close quarter poly to poly combat specialising in dissolve and melt functions to better equip myself to combat the triangles and assimilate them into the IQP collective, on our 5 year mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations. To boldly go where no man has gone before , to rotate those cubes to exact 45 degree angles.
  24. yes yes but i'd like a manual button also in case of malfunction
