    Eva Fresh

Awesome! looking "fresh" :D and you're welcome dude
  4. idk if he will sell them i just know that it's going in a kit, and the guy literally copied it detail for detail, didn't even bother to try and change it, to rub salt into the wound i also tried to offer some friendly modelling advice regarding something he recorded himself making, he straight up ignored me, and the next time i go on the forum theres some of my parts in his daily modelling thread! but as you say there's nothing that can be done to prevent it really other than not sharing anything, which kinda sucks when you get excited to share something new and cool you've been working on.
  5. Yea true , just annoying when they put it in a kitbash kit that they will potentially be making money from. there's really nothing realistically that can be done to stop it, it's just makes you less eager to share your work around i guess. idk man those architectural models you've been posting are pretty nice! i've dabbled with trying some of that out myself but not got around to it yet :D
  6. Cheers man! it was quite an unsatisfying project for me, not really particularly difficult, just so much detail that it gets quite tedious and boring after hours of adding tiny little bits and pieces all over the place, especially seeing as a lot of the details and greebly bits where either modified from the movie version or completely redesigned from scratch, as i wanted this tie to be my own modified version of the original, so i was pretty annoyed when i found out the other day that someone on another forum had been stealing my greeble redesignes and passing them off for their own work! still it's quite nice to have in the portfolio, i think everyone should have one ;)
  7. hah thanks bro, yea i'd much rather the stylised proportion look :D
  8. I have everfresh's awesome custom rig preset for advanced biped
  9. rig yes, once i've decided which direction im going to take her, i'm no animator though, so i'll brobably just make some nice stills
  10. Thanks for the feedback, but i specifically want the chest area to be a lot narrower than the hips, to really emphasize the sweep and transition, what with it being stylised i want to stay away from realistic proportions as much as possible which is also why she has such a tiny waist :D
  11. starting to dial in the proportions
  12. update time, still playing with the proportions , also applied some temporary materials
  13. Back on the characters now, and picking up from where i left off last year, i made a new female head but ended up never using it, so the last few days i've been reworking the head, changing some proportions things like that im super happy with how she's looking now, i've also just finished building a base mesh body, of which i'm now gonna enjoy stylising , so pics of that should be up soon :D
  14. that's actually a lot better :)
  15. A little better than the previous version, but that hand writing section really doesn't fit in here well, and you still have that backing track/ torture music, i really would change that, if nothing else
  16. Thieving sods stealing my designs!

    1. Antek

      Antek

When I see my illustrations being sold as prints and on clothing without my knowledge it drives me crazy.

    2. VECTOR

      VECTOR

Yea that would really annoy me, especially when they don't credit the artist at last, of if they straight up steal your designs!

  17. no problem, hopefully dan will see i tagged him and post his material, as he goes into quite a bit of detail whats what
  18. ner ner ner ner nerrrr i beat you to it for once!
  19. Hello and welcome to the cafe! you actually posted this twice, you only need click to create the thread once, then leave it, sometimes it takes a little time to process things. as for your head thats a nice effort, but there are some topology flow errors, ngons, triangles and poles where there shouldn't be and just generally quite messy and unanimation friendly , the ngons around the mouth and upper chin area particularly are going to cause ugly deformations when you try to do anything with the mouth, you also need a couple more clean loops around the mouth, and coming from the nose sweeping around the mouth and cheek area to where the top of the chin meets the lower lips, so that you can get nice smooth deformations for a variety of different poses, Dan @Rectro has some nice face/head topo guides/examples that would be useful in showing you where you've gone wrong and the basic principles of head topology
  20. AH yes i've been eager to share these! fun little project and collaboration, excellent job on the texturing and lace modelling! here's some wires and clays of the higher poly version :D
  21. Hmmm lets get things back on track, with this Turntable for anyone who hasn't seen it over at the tie interceptor thread
