  1. Integrate Kent Barber's Paint4D and Publis4D! and PBR painting intoBodypaint so that I can stay within Cinema4d and zBrush instead of having to switch to other applications....
  2. It's all way over my head! But I will be happy to use the capsules anyhow.
  3. Have been using it since 2004 (R9.5) and zBrush since 2005
  4. I had that issue as well. Support told me that I should open the Global Illumination tab and only render with Brute Force for the primary as well as the secondary rays. These have become my default render settings. With me that solved the 'out of memory' issue.
  5. I agree with SREK that development takes time and hard work. And I am a longtime (day in and out) C4D user (since 2004). It is my main software together with zBrush to make my art. However, when I saw the presentations of R25, the extras in this release are not very 'major' or 'game changing". That's why, I have not switched to R25 yet from R24, also forpractical reasons as I use a lot of third party scripts and plugins. But comparing Maxon to Adobe or Autodesk for instance or to Blender for that matter, is ridiculous. I am waiting for a new release of Cinema and maybe they finally will do something about that ancient Bodypaint. So that I do not have to go to other paint applications.
  6. Igor will do a wonderful job indeed as he has been doing and as you have Hrvoje.
  7. Integrate Kent Barber's Plugins 4d or at least 4dPaint. Replace bodypaint with his tools!
  8. Great plugin, a timesaver, using it constantly!!!!
  9. I second that. MAXON could do something with Bodypaint.... it is so ancient it has become unworkable.
  10. This is extremely helpful. I bought many of these tutorials in the past but I can now finally also study how to do it right as I follow along. You are the greatest. Thank you so much!!!
  11. There is a wonderful plugin by Gamelogicdesign: 4DPublish and in there you can paint, projection paint, import your Mari, Substance Painter, zBrush or 3DCoat textures and paint on them (import UDIMs as well)..... you can paint within the Sculpting Module with a special brush or within Bodypaint itself..... use sculpting masks or regular photoshop masks, paint on layers in several channels and it is works a bit like Mudbox but within Cinema 4d but better. And this is just a summary of all the great much needed features within Cinema4D.... So basically, you can do all your work within Cinema4d and forget about the fact that they do not seem to be interested in developing Bodypaint any further. It is very affordable as well (especially if you only need the paint module of 4DPublish appropriately called 4DPaint...). and I am not affiliated to the Developer, I am just a 3D artist who also happens to be a 2D painter , a visual artist that is.... https://www.4dpublish.com/
  12. yes, spent long hours on it... especially on the characters... the trees and landscape have been made with laubwerk products so they were no work at all... Set up in Arnold was also simple (especially since all the textures are handpainted and not procedural)... and Arnold also has beautiful fog options For fun I also testrendered the scene in Cycles (had many crashes... so it never worked) Maxwell Render (had to abort as it has some displacement and Maxwell is not good at that) and Corona (looks stunning but some of my textures are too big for their materials.... they are now testrendering my scene at Corina to see what is wrong)
  13. Cinema 4d, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Arnold Render for cinema 4d, Photoshop, also used Laubwerk Plants and Surfacespread Full title: 'Charlie Pep, Pete Banich, Forough Amirshahi, Naomi and Jeni Wright in The Ghost of Val Sinestra' (2017) I have created 12 fictive movie actors and depict their careers.... movie stills, posters, private shots etcetera.....
