  1. May I ask how are you planning to animate the cloth on this one? I'm really interested.
  2. Currently out of my PC at the moment. Will take a look at it soon. Thanks!
  3. On 2D animation: Have you tried rendering the animations in two's rather in one's? The thing is almost all 2D animation (Hand-drawn) are animated in twos. Nice work BTW!
  4. Saw this video some months ago and yes, this was really helpful and somehow daunting that this is how much of work I have to learn to get to my dream. Anyway, just to chime in, there this podcast about making an animated film. Incidentally, they are using Cinema4D! http://www.the-ottoman.com/podcast/
  5. Hi, I'm about to leave my day job in about a month, and planning to go freelance by then. Just wondering, if anyone got a dribbble invite? Would love to be invited to increase my exposure. Thank you for consideration.
  6. I'm very much interested in the "advance rigging" section. That would really be a total killer since almost all advanced rigging tutorials are for Maya/Blender. I mean have you ever encountered advanced facial rigging for Cinema4D? Most of the Maya rigging also implements scripting, as such it is quite hard to translate to C4D. Looking forward!
  7. Is there like an exclusivity in selling items within the forum? For instance, I can sell items here in the forum that I have already sold in other sits like turbo squid?
  8. Is this is like an automatic modelling voodoo?
  9. Thanks for the heads up! BTW, why are these videos "not publicly listed"?
  10. Cool! Looking forward what you can do in the next 6 months. Been trying to this actually on and off for several months and it is just darn so hard. The problem is not my technical proficiency with the software (although knowing a good topology is still fundamental), the thing that concerns me is "developing the eye". You know the part where you know about proportion about the muscle and the such. So what I usually do before my exercise is to draw the characters first on paper. (front and side view) Get the proportions right and the basics. Then I go to the computer and model things out. Just doing it in pencil and paper forces you to think just really the basics. But that just me! By my count, I already modelled around 15-ish body figures and they all look like sh*t. But hopefully, I'll get there. And yes, also, I need to get back to animating. Good luck mate!
  11. "from greyscalegorilla" do you mind giving away the reference? Can't seem to find a link. @TP Keep it up mate! Hope to see you more around the forums :) Wait after rummaging, I guess I found it. Hahaha. Might take a look at it sometime. Thanks! https://greyscalegorilla.com/tutorials/learn-cinema-4d-intro-to-cinema-4d-tutorial-series/
  12. Yea. Also interested! But when's the deadline? Hopefully it is not too tight.

Sweeeet! How long did it take you to recreate the image?
  14. Hi Bob Just wondering what type of texture did you use for the basket? just a generic wood? (I really have no luck against materials).
  15. No worries mate! Also just want to clarify, every user has a maximum attachment allowed. Is uploading to the gallery also reduces the allotted attachment?
  16. Whenever I click the gallery, it says page not found. ?
  17. @SIgor Hi. This is totally random. But is it also possible to add a feature in the forum to delete attachments in multiple selection? Correct me if I'm wrong but currently, deletion of attachments is only for individual basis.
  18. Looking forward to the coming year! Hopefully more forum challenges also! :)
  19. Looking forward. I badly want to make a pagoda for a very long time now.
  20. Maybe make it a tighter video. I reckon you can make a 1 minute or less video out of your content.
  21. Merry Christmas! I hope I get to make a full animation short film by next year. Of course, I'd have to let go my current day job which I will this May next year. I'm sooooo excited :)
  22. In addition to what has been said above, I think it is really relevant that you can charge per hourly rate if you properly estimate how long you're going to take a project. I meant no offense but 2 months for C4D usage is quite low for an experience, unless maybe you have already been with 3D for quite a while now. I'm speaking for experience. Way back when, I initially charged per hourly rate and pitched a duration. It turned out my offer was too optimistic for my skill set. I ended up doing twice or so for my offered hours. (Although to mitigate I still charged for example 4 hours instead of doing it for 8 hours Hahaha). My point is if this is your first time or you feel unsure, try having a modest fixed rate. Plus, it gives a better estimate to the client. Also, don't forget to negotiate for REVISIONS! You certainly don't want to have unlimited revisions.
  23. Thanks for the reply! This is really what I want to have achieve in a near long term. "now I don't even have to think about counting frames to get the timing right, t's very natural to me." At the moment, I just can't tell what "feels" right.
