I view it more positively. Maxon are likely getting feedback from all sorts of places, a bit more nuanced info won't hurt and can help. The Reddit thread has some useful back and forth and I think some of the comments and suggestions are being taken seriously. I'm just surprised so far there aren't five more people in that thread posting 'Blender is free' as it wouldn't be a C4D thread without some of that popping up.2 points
