I agree with No One. Students should and want to learn C4D at home and not only in university labs. I myself have been teaching computer animation for over 20 years as a professor in Germany. C4D is the tool I love and I am still convinced that it offers the best introduction to the complex 3D world, especially for beginners. When I saw the announcement on the Maxon website my first thought was hopeful. My hope is that Maxon will rebuild the EDU access website to finally get rid of Kivuto as a service provider. Kivuto checks student accounts for legitimacy. A few years ago, Maxon did the verifications itself. In the process, students had to mail their student ID to Maxon and the verifications took about 2 weeks. Then Maxon used Kivuto as a service provider. The process to get a student version then took only a few minutes. Good. But Kivuto takes money for this service. In the first year, it was only 3 euros. At that time, I could still convince students to invest 3 euros every 6 months for Maxon One - with all the added value that the package offers beyond C4D. But since about 2 years Kivuto charges 11 Euro. 11 Euro is already money for students. You can imagine what happens. They all switch to Blender! I'm not talking about a few students. It's a big wave! Today's young, creative and curious students are the artists and decision-makers in tomorrow's agencies and studios. In their later working lives they use the tools they have learned. Autodesk has understood this mechanism. So Maxon, if you still want to be part of the creative industry tomorrow, make access to your software as easy as possible for students - and of course free of charge!

@MashYeah, but when the null has keyframes of its own? Then the track shows its own keyframes + all keyframes of child-objects. No other app I use has this strange behaviour, it's so messy 😞
