  2. A team of researchers from ByteDance has recently introduced a brand-new AI model capable of generating 3D models from nothing but a text description. Meet MVDream, a multi-view diffusion model that is able to generate geometrically consistent multi-view images from a given text prompt. https://mv-dream.github.io/

  3. Thank you! It was totally the "locked axis displayed white in the gizmo". Weird because before posting here I found it in a tut and tried it but it didn't work. Well now it works! With indeed CTRL + double click on the white axis it stops being "viewport locked" on any axis, and then as suggested "click & drag anywhere in the viewport EXCEPT the gizmo, to scale uniformly on all axes" works all good as should be. Thank you guys, I'm glad I subscribed and asked. Have a good time. Regards. Olivié

  4. Good spot there Mash - indeed 1 axis of his screenshot is white, which is what happens if the mystery lock is in place... CBR

  5. If the XYZ locks at the top are not locked, you may have accidentally activated c4d's second axis lock tool. If the object only scales on the x axis for example, try ctrl + double clicking the x axis in the 3d viewport. This will lock/unlock that direction. Nobody uses this, it was only added to trap and annoy people.

  6. Welcome to the Core ! Make sure there are no axis locks in place, and then just get the scale tool, and click & drag anywhere in the viewport EXCEPT the gizmo, to scale uniformly on all axes ! Additionally you can enter size or scale values directly in the Coordinates manager (lower right hot-corner). CBR

  8. For correct compositing, the object buffer uses the transparency of the materials. That's the reason why your buffer is 50% grey. If you need a totally white mask, you could either: -Filter your current buffer layer in Photoshop (increase the exposure or play with the curve to get a black and white mask) or -Render a new mask in Cinema 4D, using a Compositing Matte Object.
