  1. Plasticity is being released soon. For tuts on how to use it I highly reccommend this channel by C4D/Moi3D/Plasticity modeler Kuechmeister Swagger. He is pushing the tool tremendously and is transfering his Moi workflow over to Plasticity:

  3. Yes, I didn't mention that, but I will be doing that for sure. Doing it currently, but using a 1060 for the monitors and a 1070 for Redshift. Time for an upgrade though.

  4. I can't speak for Octane at all, but if you're going to use Redshift, a split GPU setup really makes the difference.

  5. some of it deals with the export end of things. I found this out years ago with Max. During export you would need to do things like deselect "Triangulate" option, collapse modifiers by making editable(?). I think ABC has the same thing. Once you export as triangulated, you can't import it as quads elsewhere. Do as HappyPolygon mentioned or run it through Remesher but think about creating guide splines from the imported FBX to help the remesher

  6. You can't. Not all formats support polygons with more than 3 points. Best you can do is select all polygons and use Mesh Menu -> Cut -> Untriangulate
