  1. Been playing through blackmesa recently and it brought back a bunch of nostalgia, so just had to make Freeman from half life 1, Haven't seen anyone doing fan art in his original suit so here we go, here's the progress so far, still playing with the size and proportions of stuff.

  2. You could do it multiple ways - change cloner mode distribution - change source spline imterpolation - use mospline as "converter" for source spline clones_on_spline.c4d

  3. The neat free web app, created by industrial designer – and former Weta Workshop senior 3D modeller – Jorge Valle lets you create custom checker maps, and download them at up to 8K resolution for free. UV Checker Map Maker lets you customise pretty much any aspect of a checker map, including the size of the grid and microgrid, the numbering convention (letters and numbers or coordinates), and the colours. Settings are controlled via radio buttons or on-screen sliders, and there are nice usability options like the one to have the colour of the text change automatically with that of the background for maximum legibility. Once created, you can download the checker map at resolutions between 1,024 x 1,024px and 8,192 x 8,192px in PNG format. http://uvchecker.byvalle.com/

  5. Check in Preferences/Extensions/Substance Engine if installed. If engine correctly installed, simply load substances thru Extensions/Substance Engine/Substance Asset Manager or Load Substance... options.

  6. Yup the first one sorry I wasn't very precise Thank you for your help ! It is certainly a vram issue in this case, I did what you suggested to increase the padding size, even change density threshold (something another guy mentioned to help my case) but nothing really helped 😕 But though your explanation of the pyro system really helped me to understand how it works in a more global way ! Yea I tried to increase it by one but it didn't solve my problem, the "best" way i found to get around this was to increase the voxel size of the pyro so it's easier for it to calculate and to get a result that is less random ahah

  7. Over the last weekend I spent some more time with XParticles I wanted to have some camera movements in this but the project became corrupted somehow when trying to add camera keyframes it crashes I liked how the last shot in the previous animation looked and wanted to do an extended version with a tree in it. I was thinking of adding a character sitting by the tree with a bicycle as well but didn't have time to do that. Maybe will revisit it again if time becomes available.
