  1. Looks like a winner to me - although I'm not 100% sure about that tail 🤣

  2. Sprite = fully transparent or fully opaque only, ie a binary type of transparency. So if you want something cleanly cut out - a leaf texture is a common example - its a good option. It's faster than... Opacity = can be used as above, but also supports any degree of partial transparency.

  3. Come on, put in a bit of effort. The idea of a forum like this is not the others do your work. Plus you won't learn anything when others do it for you. The screenshot suggest the setup splits out digits. Figure out what the last one is and insert the add node like MJV described. You may want to add a space before the m.

  4. Pretty sure it is possible, but depends on the precise syntax of N's and commas which I will try to figure out later for you when I'm in front of the computer again unless someone else chimes in first.

  5. Pretty good. Now you can transfer that to C4d. I made these years ago. If you did the same, you could build your horse. 🙂

  6. Interesting project ! That's a very low voxel scale hey ? And I guess the nearest you could get to a smoothing layer would be a heat gun ! 🙂 CBR

  7. RV contains professional-grade media player technology that allows VFX and animation artists, and production teams to seamlessly view high-resolution images and sequences in real time and compare different versions while collaborating on projects. https://adsknews.autodesk.com/news/rv-open-source Aurora is an interactive path tracing renderer that leverages graphics processing unit (GPU) hardware ray tracing. As an interactive renderer, it supports rapid design iteration in a viewport. Aurora has a USD Hydra render delegate called HdAurora, which allows it to be used from a USD Hydra scene delegate within the USD ecosystem. Aurora relies on hardware accelerated raytracing; see the system requirements below. It aims to be functional across hardware vendors and operating systems. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/engineering-hub-blog/aurora-a-real-time-path-tracing-renderer-that-enables-fast/ba-p/11322421

  8. Not sure what this thread has morphed into, but as a Houdini user it has definitely piqued my interest into looking at Blender to um...inspire myself with these tools. Definitely not steal.
