  1. Global vs local axis mode ? But could also be 'Cinema quantum weirdness' for which the only cure is new scene ! CBR

  2. I'd look like this as well if someone jammed a spoon in my brain. Poor guy, didn't have to end like this. But I guess that's what you get for being delicious.

  3. Thank you very much for your help, actually I tried with After Effects via the pins that we attach to the joints and there it "works" about. But I wanted to try in C4D to have more realism, but that’s something else! I’ll try as you tell me with the camera and PSR transform. Big thanks again!!

  4. Your mistake, presumably, is imagining that you can animate a character which is essentially a flat plane, as is the case with your superman. That is completely unsuitable for animating with the character object, or indeed any method that would deform the mesh, which, in its current state is unable to deform at all because it is made of exclusively ngons. Generally speaking, no model produced from splines in extrudes will be suitable for character animation. If you want to animate that flat superman you'll need to do it relative to the camera and with PSR transforms only. CBR

  5. Oh Patrick, you don't know how good you taste! sequel to the banana zombie, this is an old model that i pretty much completely over hauled to bring it up to standards, then made the hand, spoon and smooth peanut innards, the jar has real thickness as well as being a separate mesh from the peanut butter it's self and the middle label section. This one i'd love to print 😄 view full size for maximum awesomeness

  6. lidar on the iphone simply cant resolve that detail you would find in a rug, no point trying. Youll have a better chance with the face scanner using "3d scanner app", but even then, photo to normal/displacement map conversion apps will work better as you can feed them a nice 8k still photo or two.

  8. looking good! I think we also need to consider that much of these sci-fi models, with lots of detail, cut out sections etc especially weapons and sci fi gadgets are modelled in cad software like fusion 360 and moi, where you can Boole all day long to your hearts content and not have to worry about topology, vastly improving the modelling time. Not only that but, allowing you to really play around with design aspects and experiment without having to worry about booleans causing ugly distortions to the mesh and so on. A lot of those models would be truley horrible to model any other way, I’ve done a few sci fi models of that nature with sub d modelling and a nightmare doesn’t put it in to context.
