  3. Scene Nodes outside of capsules currently work best with Standard and Phyiscal Render. For any other renderengine i would propose switching your node setup over to a node capsule. In that case you can use the object manager and all the objects specific to any render engine without any change in your workflow.

  4. I am not the person to ask about that - scene nodes are only slightly less new to me than they are to you ! Fortunately, Noseman is much more with it, and has produced this lengthy but helpful video on the subject... CBR

  5. That is what Srek is saying I think - you need to GET it in the object manager via node capsules before you can texture it ! CBR

  6. Here is a bit more elaborate setup, in this case purely nodes based. Essentially it is an inheritance effector where clones reach transformation of target object with temporal offset. Sounds complicated but effect is quite known. Following controls are provided You can choose what is active (what transforms), duration and gap. The main part of the setup is located in inheritance group To use, simply set final transformation with null object Press play and clones will transform from original state defined by distribution to new transformed state. You can easily swap the distribution. The challenge would be to make this a capsule 🙂 112_Inheritance.c4d
