  1. Here's a 12 minute video showing how you can use splines in Cinema 4D while controlling scale and rotation data. The simple answer is MoGraph... This is an Unlisted Video for Core4D users only and depending on feedback I may do a "proper" one or make this public. For now it's a "Core4D Special" https://youtu.be/BPw36_At-CA Splines with Scale and Rotation 01A.c4d

  2. Igor, should I give you the troll badge for teaching people how to ignore me? Using my profile as the example 😉

  3. Without checking your scene file I can say this is not that easy. There is no simple "add point" function yet. Firstly you will have to add point(s) to existing array of points and build corresponding topology with topology get/set nodes. Will try once I grab time 🙂

  4. Staggering animations in Houdini is unfortunately not straightforward. It's very doable, and gives you excellent control, but does require the application of a couple of advanced concepts. I have attached one way of doing this. There are others. houdini_zNsjtHRhVy.mp4

  5. Several ways... though they don't apply to ALL versions of Cinema, and you don't say which version you are using. 1. Just keep clicking. Cinema is quite clever about how it selects things. So if you have nothing selected, and you click once on a child of a Fracture in the VP you get the Fracture selected. If you click again in the same place you get the child you are hovering over.... 2. Hold Ctrl (Win) and r-click the object, which will produce a list of all items under your cursor from which you can choose with left click. 3. Select it in the Object Manager instead. CBR

  6. Just catching up with Core4D / C4D Cafe as I haven't visited in a while. Myself and Crew Reynolds started C4D cafe. We were both trueSpace users and both into animating. We could see that truespace's days were numbered so moved over to Cinema 4D. In fact it was about 10 years that we then later me on my own ran the cafe before I sold it and moved on. I'm not actually doing any 3D these days and only have Blender installed on my computer and that's just to view a couple of model files. People may recall that I was modelling Lego motorcycles in 3D. That's developed to actually modelling them for real. I currently have about 55 Lego Technic motorcycles and now design my own. I exhibit them at Lego shows here in New Zealand. Getting back to the topic. I would be fine paying a small contribution to keep this place going. I know I had to dig into my own wallet a few times to pay the bills. Running and maintaining a forum on its own server isn't cheap. Cheers Nigel / 3DKiwi

  8. Here is an interesting one. In a nutshell, a linear cloner which respects boundaries of input objects. Generator takes any number of input objects and arranges them on selected axis There are controls for axis, count and spacing Here is a graph The "magic" happens in LCV subgraph 47_Boundary_Clones.c4d
