1. Performance. 2. Performance. 3. Performance. Performance is also numbers 4 to 100 in my wishlist. I love the way Cinema 4d does things, but the performance is abysmal compared to other 3d apps I've used. I can go from 200 fps to 10 fps in about 2 or three moves and that's not good. Even when trying to work as efficiently as possible, I can bring the software to its knees on my Ryzen 5950x and 3x 3070 GPU. I want Maxon to stop giving us cute new toys to play with and make the software faster.

Hi everyone, Haven't made an interior (with C4D) in years but I'm back at it again with this kitchen I'm working on. The pc broke down last month so I got it fixed and upgraded, only waiting for the videocards to drop in price. Rendertimes have greatly improved too. This had been rendered with Corona!

I can give you the version without plastic parts (from CAD file under NDA) and the Arnold materials (exclusive to our client - even though they are not very special 😉 ) tomorrow... Nite ...

If anyone is interested I've uploaded a tutorial for creating embroidered fabrics from scratch, the technique is useful also for many other materials and you can use it with every render engine. Hope you'll find it useful;)

New redshift 3.0.67 has material previews while renderview is active. this is awersome and my biggest issue with redshift/c4d. Thanks Maxon for fixing this

Hi folk! Haven't made a lot of models inside C4D but the elephant and this Mass Effect Salarian are my favorites so I printed them. This one's about 23cm tall and stands proudly on my tv cabinet ^^ The files aren't really fit for sharing and haven't been optimized but perhaps if I can find the time (and energy) I will fix that.
