  2. Actually, I think it is evidence of just how desperate people are for...well....pretty much anything. Pretty confident that 3 million people are not interested in cutting logs and if you check out their YouTube page (Triple L Rustic Designs) every video has her in tight spandex. Plus every cut is framed from the waste down and from behind....so we all know what they are selling and it is not logs....but it is "wood". Now, personally, 5 seconds was about all I could take, but I think that still counts as a "view". So, I hold out hope for humanity that people were more interested in determining whether her body shape in the thumbnail was real or enhanced by video or make-up and when you realize it was real you can't help but feel sorry for the poor women and stop watching. 3. Just replying to tag myself in for replies. I looked into this a while back, and to be honest the quality/compatibility of c4d's gltf export left a bit to be desired. The only way I found to get decent results was to go through a platform like sketchfab and do the export via fbx with animation in the take system. The problems, animation in c4d's take system is miserable. You need to remake materials in the web editor once exported, so if you need to reexport to update things, you need to redo a lot of your material and lighting work. In short, we've put our web 3D plans on hold until c4d improves, or three.js improves, or someone learns enough blender which apparently has better exporters.

  4. Don't underestimate what a good Thumbnail and the YouTube algorithm sometimes does. I've been getting this one stupid video for years in my recommendations the second I dare watching any video about C4D / Blender / After Effects. I've talked to collegues and they all know this video as well and have been getting the recommendation for years. Talking about this one specifically: That video has 19 Million (!!!) views. It's not even a tutorial, it's literally just a 1,5h long timelapse. I think it's entirely worthless. But it has a good title, and a good thumbnail. Sometimes you just need to get lucky with your videos and they just straight up snowball from there.
