  1. whiners. I dare them to jump ship and find something else even remotely competing with Zbrush for that kind of work. 99.99999 percent are puffing out their chests as if they're going to do it. They're also complaining after getting YEARS of free updates which no other company does. As many others are starting to say, it's PIxologic's fault. You can't expect to make money by giving away free updates forever. You can't expect to make money after everyone already has a perpetual license with free updates and you decide to do subscriptions. No one is buying that bullshit. I saw somewhere Pixologic took about a 30 million or so drop in revenue over the course of a few years. I'm surprised they were able to keep innovating, unlike Blackmagic which gives Fusion away for cheap with free unlimited upgrades and they don't do crap with their software. Someone was going to buy Pixologic sooner or later. I'm surprised it took this long. Poor 3D Coat guys wish their software was at least looked at in such regard as wanting to be purchased by a bigger fish.. a las.. it's still crappy bottom of the barrel. The great news is Maxon masked their minimal C4D R25 SP1 release by buying another company, instead of investing the dollars back into dev of C4D. WEEEEEEE WHO NEEDS MORE ICONS!! Still not understanding why they won't just buy Insydium.. it would at least have made more sense than Zbrush.. but Zbrush was underwater I guess.

  2. soo kind of a meh release.. again. They eclipsed the sad sack update by announcing they put their money into buying Zbrush instead of working on C4D. 😕

  3. Wow! Totally surprising, and a real power-move. Whenever I dip into zBrush, I get lost in that labyrinthic GUI and also step in a thousand pitfalls. But when actually sculpting, it's simply peerless. So organic, so responsive, so natural. I guess, the new acquisitions will live unaltered alongside each other for quite a while, but it's obvious now, that Maxon builds it's own CreativeCloud now. Not sure about the Forger buy now that they acquired the big one, but ok. Let's see 🙂

  5. R25.113 is out, and addresses a great many of the issues with the original release. Recommended for all R25 users (especially if you have a tablet!), and available through the Maxon app. https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/articles/4411991623442-Cinema-4D-R25-December-13-2021-SP1 CBR

  7. We can only hope for Zbrush inside C4D! And Redshift inside Zbrush! And a new Gui with OM in Zbursh! 😉

  11. Reconsidering, I have updated the plugin to version 1.4. Having taken the opportunity to setup a building environment for R23 and S24 on Windows and macOS. This is becoming quite a hassle. Which reminded me of one of the reasons having contributed to quit the plugin-business. The plugin(s) is available in the download section.
