  2. Dear All, we are in search architectural 3d modellers who are capable of correctly reading and understanding 2d cad plans and can model precise nice, and clean arch models, in reasonable time frames, for rendering inside C4D (corona, vray, vantage, RS) Modelling is preferred to be made in C4D, or also in Rhino3d and/or Archicad. the open positions are as freelancer, and can be done from anywhere, probably as side job (not full time). speaking fluent english OR german is required. if you are interested or have questions send me a personal message here, so we can contact you. best greetings Stefan

  5. I used to work with product and architectural visualisations for many years, but now I mostly do illustrations for books and tabletop RPGs. I’m attaching a couple of recent illustrations below. And I finally got around to making a portfolio on Artstation, if you want to see more: www.artstation.com/clarenceredd

  7. Funny how many products around the world use the word Maxon. Here's a nugget I found. "Initially, Cinema 4D was developed for Amiga computers in the early 1990s, and the first three versions of the program were available exclusively for that platform. With v4, however, Maxon began to develop the application for Windows and Macintosh computers as well, citing the wish to reach a wider audience and the growing instability of the Amiga market following Commodore's bankruptcy. 8. I still use them in my work. Together with 286Cpu computers running on 12MHz with 256kB Ram without HDD. There´s a system on the discette and programs for driving machine. Only must them format to 720Kb (single side) to extend their life (alot of dust around) ... And also have single machine with 5.25 dimension (with capacity 128Kb), but don´t have any backup. If discette die, we can "recycle" machine to iron 🙂 Don´t tell you´re old, use word veteran, it´s sound more "experienced" :-)

  9. If you guys want a real blast from the past... check this out. Shot in 2008 I believe. The day of the floppy disk was long gone - 1.44 MB per disk : ). It was time to throw all those disks hanging out in the back of the cupboard away. I hesitate to think how much they originally cost. I piled them all up before they hit the bin... God, I'm old.

  13. Use material parametrization node. It will allow you to access parameters of node from node material which you designated as start node. Here is a simple scene mat_param.c4d

  14. Here's a character I've been working on for a tabletop RPG set in the 1920s. His poor soul is being ripped out of his body by a malignant alien. Working on the clothes was actually the most fun part of this image.
